James at Jooka has been getting his hands dirty, capturing some test footage with a Canon 100mm f/2.8 L Macro lens, fixed to a Panasonic GH4 using a Metabones Speedbooster.
Macro lenses allow us to pick up extraordinary detail that would otherwise be missed and capture extreme close-ups – perfect for getting a better look at some of the insects and bugs that can be found in the garden this time of year.
It is with these lenses that nature documentaries such as the BBC’s ‘Life In The Undergrowth’ are able to shed a light on that which cannot be seen by the naked eye.
We hate to be cheesy with our sales patter, but there really is “no job too small” when it comes to filming…
As well as macro footage, Jooka produces micro content for Instagram & Vine, motion graphics, stop motion, hyperlapse & aerial footage in Bristol, Bath, Swindon and London.
